Welcome to Tiffinx (“Platform”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Tiffinx website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using Tiffinx, you (“User”, “Foodie”, “Kitchen”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the Platform.

1. Nature of Tiffinx Services

1.1 Business Auxiliary Service (BAS) & Connecting Platform

Tiffinx operates as a Business Auxiliary Services (BAS) platform that facilitates the initial connection (“handshake”) between Home Kitchens and Foodies. The Platform does not cook, prepare, package, sell, or deliver food.

1.2 Limited Role

Tiffinx is not a restaurant, cloud kitchen, food business operator, or delivery service. All food preparation, packaging, hygiene, delivery, and payment activities are carried out independently between the Kitchen and the Foodie.

1.3 Independent Responsibilities

Each Kitchen is independently responsible for the safety, quality, hygiene, legality, and compliance of the food they provide. Tiffinx is not responsible for food preparation, safety, or any issues arising from consumption.

2. Evolving & Transitional Policy

2.1 Early-Stage & Learning Phase

Tiffinx is currently in its initial and learning stage, continuously improving and expanding its service capabilities. At this stage, Tiffinx provides a limited scope service as a BAS platform focused on connecting Foodies with nearby Home Kitchens.

2.2 Commitment to Government Rules

Tiffinx respects all applicable laws, regulations, and government guidelines related to auxiliary services, digital platforms, and food service intermediaries. Even during its early stage, Tiffinx operates within lawful boundaries.

2.3 Future Legal & Operational Updates

As government regulations, taxation rules, FSSAI guidelines, or intermediary laws evolve, Tiffinx may need to:

2.4 Right to Modify Terms

3. Responsibilities of Kitchens (Home Kitchen Partners)

Kitchens must ensure compliance with all applicable laws, including but not limited to:

All menu items, prices, descriptions, and availability details added on the Platform must be accurate and updated. Misleading or false information may result in penalties or account removal.

4. Responsibilities of Foodies (Customers)

4.1 Food Inspection Before Consumption

Foodies must inspect food items before consuming them. This includes checking:

5. Transaction Process – Cash on Delivery (COD)

5.1 COD Model

All transactions facilitated through Tiffinx are on a Cash on Delivery (COD) basis. Payments occur directly between the Foodie and the Kitchen.

5.2 Verification at Delivery

The COD system allows Foodies to verify the food before paying. Kitchens deliver only after receiving payment, reducing fraudulent transactions.
